This is me with my two editors on IT’S ONLY A MOVIE, and THREE VISIONARY SCREENPLAYS. Joseph Maddrey is on the right. It was his idea to do a book and he did recordings of me for over a year detailing my professional life. The book he wrote was wonderful but felt like it needed an ending I had not yet found. Paul Cronin, on the left, read the book and said it didn’t need an ending, it needed to be more personal. I rewrote the book under both of their guidance and discovered my ending by the time I finished. I am deeply grateful. The screenplay book was entirely their idea.

Tony Mercer is a recording engineer and head of Tony Mercer Audio Production and Design in Virginia. He is a friend of Joe Maddrey's and came as a gift to this project. His skill, friendship and ongoing encouragement in recording the book made the audio version possible.

Ann Cameron has been a student and friend since I moved to Los Angeles in 1984. She has also been a guide to many of the insurmountable challenges of the technological world we live in. She designed and maintains my website, my Instagram account and continues to keep me current as the computing world swirls around me. It was Ann’s idea to do an audio version of my book. For people who no longer read (and people like me) she is a godsend.
