MY LIFE IN PHOTOS - PLACES, NYC REDMOND SAN RAFAEL
While living in Bear Hollow, GHOST THE MUSICAL happened in London and then on Broadway and I needed an apartment walking distance to the Lunt Fontaine Theater. This apartment was on 42nd street and the West Side Highway. It was a perfect NYC space.

The living room overlooked the Hudson River and all the ships coming and going every day. It fulfilled my dream of living in NY and having a play on Broadway.

A 12th floor view of the Hudson River. You have to trust me.

This is actually a view out of the window of another rented apartment on the East River we had while I was writing a film for Will Smith that never got made. It was not centrally located, up on 90th Street but it was Manhattan and I was home.

We rented a lovely home in Redmond, Washington home of Microsoft. We were thrilled at the arrival of our first grandson weeks after we moved. Grandchildren were the reason we were there.

More living room.

Another view of the classroom space.

After 8 months in Redmond, Josh got a new job offer in Northern California. Addicted to our grandchildren, Blanche and I decided to follow them again. We picked up stakes and moved yet again to the town of San Rafael, in Marin County just a short drive from the Golden Gate Bridge. Once again we found a truly lovely home to rent just minutes from the grandkids.

Our new house overlooked mountains and valleys and was exceedingly beautiful. Luckily we stayed there five years. Every month we would travel down to LA to see family and for me to teach class. It was an easy commute. San Rafael was a truly joyous space for us. Watching the grandchildren grow up was the greatest gift imaginable.
