MY LIFE IN PHOTOS - PLACES, NORTHRIDGE
Our house in Northridge, CA was heaven for us. It had been a one-story ranch house that we lived in for six years but after the success of GHOST we tore it down and rebuilt it. Blanche designed the house and it had more flow and offered more embrace than any home I had ever lived in. We were there for 35 years. Many Michigan relatives joined us in California. It became a second Detroit. It was a space for family gatherings and I taught meditation class the entire time we were there. I share these images not to boast about my homes but as a reminder for our friends of the wonderful times spent together inside them. This is the front gate.

Our house was situated on an acre of land and was enclosed by a comforting wall that created great privacy. This is the front yard.

Our bedroom was just off the living room to the left. Other bedrooms and the meditation classroom were up the stairs.

The patio is out the doors to the left. The family room is to the left past the paintings.
